2024 37 weeks and 3 cm dilated

I was induced for medical reasons starting at 1am at 38+1. I was 0cm, not soft, nada, no movement whatsoever toward baby eviction. My body overreacted to the cytotec and cervadil so I got my epidural at 0cm around 2pm due to intense pain making cervical checks impossible. Baby was born at 4pm on 38+2. It took forever.. I went in to have my membranes stripped early in the morning at 2cm and by midnight I was having contractions 6-8min apart. I did do some walking and ate spicy food through out the day. By 3am I was at the hospital 5cm dilated.
