It does start a touch hotter than expected. ~2950-3000 FPS. Pretty young in the reloading game, but I’ve used CFE 223 with a 62 gr FMJ, ranging from 24.5 - 26.9 gr, getting 2586-2934 fps respectively, out of an 18” criterion barrel in an AR15.
