The parked regen is now in process and should take 40 minutes to complete.In Jan 2013 the truck would not regen on it's own and the dealer installed a cat converter and said all was OK. 6000 miles later the same dealer is now telling me the truck would not regen again and I don't know how to drive it. I'm on the road so this is not my local dealer. I did call my dealer and was told what the problem was in their opinion.That seems strange. Turning very fast for that speed. Mine will regen in that 50-60mph range, but I am turning 1400-1500RPM. Once you get RPMs above 1700-1800, the 6.7 starts consuming a lot more fuel. Bone stock (so far) 2008 Bighorn 2500. QuadCab, 6.7, 6 speed auto, Infernal Red. Like.Ohh man! take it in any Volvo shops, they shouldn't charge you more than 1 hour labor to install the free updated software; I updated mine in 2010 @Volvo in Sikeston ,Missouri; as I said last year in this thread, my motor used to do same 2-3 regens /day, after update runs 1 every 2000-2500 miles and lasts 20-22 min, I never run parked regen; The ERG caused more problems on this motor not the ...On average, a parked regen on a Volvo truck can take anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes.
