Before Hydroid, there used to be Vauban, Ember and Wukong that were below him. Now, back then, these were truly garbage frames, especially Vauban. These were all reworked to be excellent or decent frames. Ember and Wukong became top-tier, while Vauban became just average. DE also looked at Hydroid very recently and gave him a small buff.Finally, Hydroid's last ability. Right now, this is just a worse version of Khora's 4th - the enemies are hard to hit while they are flailing around, it does no damage, and it hits much less enemies than Khora's Strangledome. This needs a rework, firstly to make the enemies easier to hit, and also to have more synergy with his other abilities.Hydroid needs all he can get out of a rework, and Corroding Barrage as an innate ability is a good start. Tempest Barrage is one of the only abilities in his kit that is actually pretty good, but other than being pirate-related, it doesn't have much else going for it other than being a weaker Smite.4-Reworked Kraken- Call of the Deep- Hydroid summons tentacles like his current 4 but with altered behavior and effects-.
