Marlin 39a hard to close lever on a round. I got my 39a (1948 model) out to shoot today after working on it a bit. I replaced the broken finger lever spring, replaced a missing sight ramp screw, put in a Wolfe reduced power hammer spring, mounted a Lyman 17a globe front sight, and cleaned and lubed the bore and action.
