Surfside Beach is renowned for its stunning natural beauty.It’s called Dirty Myrtle and it’s a running joke that only tourists go there. Locals stay in Charleston or head to Beaufort and Hilton Head if need be. I grew up in MI, so I get the excitement of a beach vacation, and I suppose if you have young kids it has plenty to do, it’s just so trashy.It is not racist to tell the truth. I have been in MB over 100 times and have been to both bikers weeks and their is a huge difference. Black Biker week the place looked like a tornado went through, trash all over the roads, cycles on the wrong side of the street, parking on the grass in the highway, hotels complaining about damage, even the Wal Mart has sheriffs all over the place.Instead of a tightly wrapped letter inside, a clue to the barrel’s origins was found on the stickers plastered to its dirty sides: “City of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.”.
